2025 Maranatha Women's Conference: Beauty from Ashes

Maranatha is an aramaic phrase found at the end of 1 Corinthians and in early church writings that essentially means,  "The Lord is coming", or "Our Lord, come". This year, we will gather together with local women for a day of worship, prayer, fellowship, and we will will be reminded that we can "rejoice in the hope of the glory of God (Rom. 5:2). "

SCHEDULE:

  • 8:30-9 :Registration
  • Session 1: Worship, Local Speaker & Small Group Break-Outs
  • Session 2: Guest Speaker & Small Group Break-Outs
  • Session 3: Guest Speaker & Panel Q&A's (see below to submit your question!)
  • 12:30-1:45: Lunch Break 
  • Session 4: Worship, Local Speaker & Small Group Break-Outs
  • Session 5: Worship, Guest Speaker, Closing 
  • Dismiss 4:30-5:00

GUEST SPEAKER Q&A:

There will be a chance for a Q&A panel featuring our guest speakers. If you have any questions related to faith, Christianity, or biblical/theological beliefs, please submit them, and they may be selected for discussion during the event.

MEET OUR GUEST SPEAKERS

David and Renata Perkins

David and Renata Perkins married and began full-time ministry together in 2000. They founded and led a national student ministry, Desperation, while serving at New Life Church in Colorado Springs. After fifteen wonderful years of ministering to thousands of students, God gave David and Renata a burden to start Radiant Church in Kansas City.

David & Renata Perkins now serve as the founding and lead pastors of Radiant Church.

Alivia Perkins

Alivia Perkins is David and Renata's eldest daughter and is currently a student at Oral Roberts University in Tulsa, OK. She is a devoted follower of Christ and a powerful voice for the younger generation. In 2021, she spoke in front of over 800 young people at Bold Conference about living a committed, Jesus-centered life. 

 

Michelle Owen

Michelle Owen is a member of the Tonkawa Christian Life Church and a founding member of the Tonkawa Women's Group and Conference. 

She is a tireless servant of her community and a natural, selfless leader. 

To anyone who knows her, she is an inspiring example of patience, resilience and unflinching faith in the gospel. 

Alyson Fath

Aly Fath is member of the Tonkawa Christian Life Church and a founding member of the Tonkawa Women's Group and Conference. 

She is one of the high school and middle school teachers here at CLC, and has spent all of her professional life in education. She is a dedicated follower of Christ and and believes the importance of lifelong discipleship in local churches cannot be overstated.
