A) Affirming our Statement of Faith
We commit to believe and not teach in opposition to our Statement of Faith (Jud. 1:3, 2 Tim 2:2)
B) Serving and caring for our members in love.
We commit to serve and care for our members through the means the Lord has given us (Rom. 12:10, 14:19, Phil. 2:3-4,7, Eph. 4:29, 1 Peter 4:10-11, Gal 6:10, Jn 13:34-35).
C) Honoring our leaders as they honor the Lord
We commit to honor our leaders through helping them fulfill their task with joy (Heb. 13:17, 2 Cor. 1:24, Gal 6:6, 1 Tim. 5:17)
A) Worshipping Culture
We commit to cultivating worshipful hearts personally and corporately through prayer, scripture, and the Lord's supper (Matt. 6:6, Ac. 2:46-47, Heb. 10:24-25).
B) Discipling Culture
We commmit to cultivating a discipling culture through orienting our lives towards one another in encouragement from the Spirit and the scriptures (Heb. 3:13-14, Col. 3:16, Ro. 15:4, 14, Ep. 4:15, Ma. 1:17, Phil 3:17, 1 Cor. 11:1).
C) Evangelizing Culture
We commit to cultivating a discipling culture through the regular practice of sharing the gospel in private and group settings; inviting the lost to know and follow Jesus (Lk. 14:23)
A) Supporting the Church Financially
Whether individual members in need, smaller groups, or the church’s mission, members commit to give according to what “they have decided in their heart (2 Cor. 9:7).”( 1 Cor. 16:2, 2 Cor. 8:7, 2 Cor. 9:7)
B) Living A Worthy Life
We commit to keeping our conduct honorable to the Lord, saying no to ungodliness and worldly passions, and living self-controlled, upright, and godly lives (Phil. 1:27, Matt. 5:16, 1 Pe. 1:13-19, 2:12, Ti. 2:11-14).
C) Participating in the church’s polity.
An elder-led, congregationally governed church, members commit to prayerfully participate in the church’s polity, praying and thinking about the appointment of leaders, the annual budget, and if necessary, church discipline cases (Mat. 18:15-22, 1 Co. 5:12-13, 6:1-11, 1 Tim. 3:1-7, Titus 1:6-9, 1 Peter 5:1-5).
